Description:
What can I say about Tommy, except for the fact that he is FABULOUS! He is one of the sweetest and most even tempered dog I have ever met.
Tommy is currently being fostered by Colleen at Canine Academy. He loves going to day care and playing with the other dog - even the feisty ones! Tommy just gives them play signal after play signal and even if they get snarky, he doesn't react. How's that for a breed that is supposed to be aggressive to other dogs! You see, it isn't the breed - it's the dog and Tommy is about as good as they come.
Tommy is a young energetic dog, so we really think that he would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. He doesn't like being in a crate unless he is tuckered out, so we are looking for a home that would continue to work with him on that. We don't know how he would be if he was loose in the house, but if you have a secure area he could stay while you are gone, that might be the best option for him. I've never seen a person or a dog that Tommy didn't love and I can't say enough about his wonderful personality.
Tommy is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, flea treated, HW negative and his adoption includes a free first vet visit. He has his basic obedience down and his foster mom Colleen has been doing a great deal of work with him. Are you the lucky one that will bring him into your home?
