Adoption Info
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued pit bull dog. There just are not enough forever homes for bullies currently. Recent statistics show that nearly 25,000 pit bull dogs are put to sleep in US shelters each week. This statistic unfortunately continues to rise as states implement unnecessary and inhumane Breed Specific Legislation (BSL).
The educate a bull adoption process consists of an adoption application, reference and vet checks, a home visit and an adoption donation. Our adoption screening process may seem rigorous but educate a bull needs to be assured that our bullies are going to safe, responsible and loving homes.
All of our dogs are vaccinated, temperament tested, fostered in our own homes, spay/neutered and micro-chipped. The adoption donation is generally $175.00 for an adult dog and $200.00 for puppies, which if you have had a recent trip to the vets lately, you know what a great deal this is! You are also rescuing a dog in need and providing it with a forever loving home.
We also require that potential pit bull adopters check to make sure that their home owners insurance policies cover pit bull dogs. Also, renters need to get landlord permission for a pit bull to reside at their property.
We feel strongly about responsible placement of our rescued bullies. It is our belief that responsible placement is the only way to dispel myths and restore this breed to their former position of esteem in the hearts and minds of people everywhere. Owning a bully breed comes with great responsibility and should be a serious, well thought out decision. Please take time to research the breed at :
